Trails Morzine-Avoriaz runs from the Place du Baraty in the centre of Morzine up into the Portes du Soleil, the ski area shared with Avoriaz and the Swiss border: forest tracks, open Alpine pasture and ridgeline paths with Mont Blanc on the horizon. Geneva airport is an hour and a quarter away.
