By car:

If travelling by car, there is parking right next to the event village.

By train:

There is a train station which is an 18 minute walk to the venue, or short bus journey away.

By bus:

There are multiple bus stops surrounding the venue, served by lines from the city centre and elsewhere.

Event village opens: 06:45

Bag drop

We will have a secure marquee/room/area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets: Toilets will be available in the Event Village.

Water & refreshments

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal (please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course).

Every course will have an Aid Station approximately every 10-15 km. Exact locations TBC.

If you think you may take longer than the cut-off time, please email info@runthrough.co.uk before the event so we can advise on the options, we want everyone to finish, and knowing in advance lets us keep the course and marshals in place for you where we can.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish.

Kit is spot-checked at bib collection.

Mandatory for every distance: Running pack (vest or belt); Mobile phone, fully charged, medical number saved; Route map, GPX loaded to watch, phone or GPS device; ID, emergency contact details & medical info (if applicable); Drinking container, folding cup, flask or drinks bottle.

15K: Recommended, Waterproof jacket (taped seams); Foil blanket or survival bag (1.4m x 2m min); Water bottle / hydration bladder (min 1L); Food reserves; First aid kit.

26K: also mandatory, Water bottle / hydration bladder (min 1L). Recommended, Waterproof jacket (taped seams); Foil blanket or survival bag; Head torch + spare battery; Food reserves; First aid kit.

50K: also mandatory, Waterproof jacket (taped seams); Foil blanket or survival bag (1.4m x 2m min); Water bottle / hydration bladder (min 1L); Head torch + spare battery; Food reserves; First aid kit.

Hot weather (we'll confirm before and on the day): Sun hat; Sun screen; Sunglasses; Extra water capacity (500ml).

Cold / adverse weather (we'll confirm before and on the day): Second pair of gloves or mitts; Additional insulated long-sleeved jacket; Extra warm hat; Neck gaiter or balaclava; Full-length legwear; Insulated jacket or gilet (synthetic, not down).
